Natural Capital Symposium

Date: January 14, 2016

The event will convene leaders in natural capital science and approaches from around the world. Its aim is to bring ecosystem services into policy and decision-making. Panel sessions and symposia will focus on several current topics, including scaling impact through corporate engagement and bringing a social-ecological systems perspective to community engagement. Through learning exchanges participants will explore the frontiers of science and practice, such as ecosystem services for physical and mental health. Technical training sessions will instruct attendees on assessment approaches and software tools.

The first three days of the symposium have a full program of panel sessions, talks, training courses, and learning exchanges. This year a fourth day is added to the event, specifically dedicated to meetings of collaborative working groups.
