Lisa will be substituting Erik Pihl during his parental leave until September 2019. Her main tasks encompass supporting the Earth Commission and liaising with the global research projects Global Carbon Project, Future Earth Coasts and Integrated Marine Biosphere Research, as well as with SDG Labs Africa.
Lisa has a background in science communication, journalism and project management, working at the science-policy interface for the Swedish Cancer Society. She also has more than ten years of experience working as a medical journalist and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Stockholm University.
Climate change and other sustainability challenges has always been a strong interest of Lisa’s and since 2018 she holds a MSc in social-ecological resilience from Stockholm Resilience Centre. Her main areas of interest include sustainable lifestyles, transformation and behavioral change, particularly related to food and travelling. Her master thesis was a qualitative interview study on the possibilities of transforming air travel behavior in the face of climate change.
