Third meeting of the Future Earth Science Committee and Engagement Committee
The meeting taking place this week is the third in-person meeting of the Science Committee and first of the full Engagement Committee, which was announced in November. It brings together 29 members of both Committees, as well as members of interim Secretariat, the new Secretariat implementation team and Future Earth's sponsors, the Science and Technology Alliance for Global Sustainability.
Discussions have focused on taking forward the Future Earth 2025 Vision, looking at the structures and activities that will help address the global challenges outlined in the Vision.
