Volunteer opportunity: Interview members of the Future Earth community
Future Earth is seeking a small team of two to four students or early-career professionals from the Montreal area to work on a new communications project. The team will conduct a series of short video and podcast interviews with key leaders in the Future Earth community. The project is part of Future Earth’s annual meeting, which runs from 17 to 23 March 2017 in Montreal.
The goal of the interviews is to showcase Future Earth’s international community, which consists of scientists, business leaders, representatives from non-governmental organisations and other experts in global sustainability. The media team will have the opportunity to talk to these leaders about their views on the state and future of sustainability research and policy around the world.
The deadline for teams to apply to this opportunity is 10 February 2017 at 17:00 EST. Future Earth will select one team based on media expertise, interview skills and interest in and knowledge of sustainability issues. This is a volunteer position, and having access to you own media equipment is considered an asset.
To apply, fill out the online form here.
