Future Earth Annual Report 2020-2021
Each year, Future Earth highlights updates on its activities and successes, including new findings emerging from our Global Research Projects, Knowledge-Action Networks, collaborations and partnerships, in its annual report.
As we reflect about the closing of 2021, we think back at the many ups and downs we’ve experienced together as COVID-19 continued to affect our lives. No doubt that the science and innovation community has been instrumental for the development of new approaches and standards to respond to this new normal in the midst of high uncertainty and within different disciplines and sectors.
Future Earth has been deeply involved and we hope to continue to facilitate this engagement going forward, in which a global response is informed by science and especially takes into account issues of justice and equity. Notwithstanding, the Future Earth community continued to advance science in many other fields ranging from monitoring and responding to the climate crisis and identifying ways to work around the loss of biodiversity.
As a result, the community together developed nearly 1000 publications within the reporting period (April 2020 – March 2021). To fast forward to the publication list you can click HERE.
