On December 7, Future Earth hosted the 2025 Future Earth Young Scientists Symposium under the theme “Interdisciplinary Synergy for Advancing Global Sustainable Development.” The symposium served as a high-level platform for exchange, dialogue, and collaboration among early-career researchers.

The event brought together participants from two cohorts of Future Earth Early-Career Fellows and early-career scholars from Sun Yat-sen University. Discussions focused on key issues in global environmental governance, with presentations covering ecosystem restoration, environmental pollution mitigation, and climate change adaptation.
