Call for proposals: SNAPP

The Science for Nature and People Partnership (SNAPP) has issued a call for proposals for projects that seek to explore the connections between  conserving biodiversity and human well-being. SNAPP is a partnership of the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis, The Nature Conservancy and the Wildlife Conservation Society.

The partnership is looking for proposals for transdisciplinary working groups that will address how the planet can meet the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. In particular, SNAPP seeks proposals that examine two key questions: "How can programs advancing human well-being and economic development be designed to also maintain or enhance biodiversity and restore or protect ecosystems?" and "How can nature conservation contribute broadly to benefit human well-being and economic development?"

SNAPP plans to fund four to six projects, lasting up to two years. Proposals are due by April 25. You can find more information here.
