Alison Clausen
Deputy Director, France
Alison is the Deputy Director of Future Earth’s Paris global hub. With significant experience in climate change adaptation planning, development and implementation of natural resource-based climate change mitigation strategies, and marine and terrestrial natural resource management, Alison has a particular interest in the links between human livelihoods and environmental sustainability. She has strong skills in partnership development and resource mobilization to support sustainability research and development work. She has over 15 years’ experience living and working in South East Asia and Africa, and has previously worked for various funding agencies, including the World Bank and Asian Development Bank, and international NGOs. She has a Masters degree in environmental engineering and a Masters degree in applied science.
