Dr. Houda Ben Jannet Allal joined the OME in 1992. On 1st January 2013, she was appointed General Director of the Observatoire Méditerranéen de l’Energie (OME). Prior to her elevation to General Director, she held several positions at OME, most recent ones being successively Director of Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development and Strategy Director. Her fields of expertise mainly relate to energy prospects, renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable development and energy cooperation in the Mediterranean region. With her experience at OME and her position as Strategy Director, she successfully expanded a unique wide angle on energy development and perspectives in the Mediterranean region.
