Mark de Blois
Mark de Blois is the CEO and founder of Upande Ltd., a company based in Nairobi developing innovative ICT solutions, besides providing advisory and technical development services. A social entrepreneur with a passion for maps, data, IoT and Africa, his vision is to locally develop world class, innovative, transformative, sustainable solutions for everyday management of resources. Prior to founding Upande, Mark was in charge of the Google Maps team in Kenya. Mark and Upande are graduates of Stanford Seed (2018). His background is in Ecology, GIS and he brings over 22 years of experience from Kenya, the Netherlands and the UK.
