Viveca Mellegård
Viveca works at the interface of research and communication about pathways for sustainable development.She uses film and photography as a way of delving into knowledge and insights that other research methods might not capture and, as tools to engage with and build understanding between researchers and communities. The visuals complement research processes and can unearth new perspectives and questions that are valuable for sustainability science and resilience thinking. The films and photos also aim to communicate complex science and tell stories that engage people’s heads and hearts, ultimately to help shift mindsets towards a more equitable development of humans and nature.
