7th International Forum on Sustainable Future in Asia (20 to 21 January)
The National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) is developing research to understand global and regional environmental change and has developed scientific evidence that feeds into societal decision-making processes to improve the state of the environment. Every year, NIES holds the International Forum on Sustainable Future in Asia (NIES International Forum) with the purpose of facilitating international collaboration with those that share the same goal. NIES also supports Future Earth, and with the main theme of “Research for Societal Transformation with Future Earth” this year, we hope that researchers will exchange their views and knowledge across the disciplines and generations to contribute to society.
