Details:
Anthropocene Magazine (a publication of Future Earth) has teamed up with The Long Now Foundation and Back Pocket Media to take the magazine’s acclaimed fiction series “Climate Parables,” from the page to the stage.

The series is based on the idea that survival in the Anthropocene depends on upgrading not just our technology, but also our collective imagination.

To that end, we’ve asked some of the most creative science fiction writers to paint portraits of life after technological and cultural shifts have actually mitigated climate change—and we’ve adapted to chronic environmental stresses. Think of it as climate reporting from the future.
