Deadline for abstracts: Ecological Challenges 2017
What kind of systemic alternatives are desirable and feasible in the economic, political, social, and cultural spheres? What systems have to change, and why is it so hard to change them? What strategies could environmental movements adopt in order to achieve system change?
The Ecological Challenges 2017 conference will explore all of the above questions, and more.
The overarching theme for the conference is "system change" and over the course of the conference participants will explore topics such as:
1) Ecological worldviews
2) Ecological economics
3) Ecological politics
4) Movements and strategies
The conference welcomes everyone working on environmental issues including environmental activists, NGOs, educators, policy makers, artists, students and academics.
The deadline for abstracts is 15 September 2016.
