Discussion workshop: Transdisciplinarity and Sustainability for Social Innovation
Future Earth and the Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche en opérationnalisation du développement durable (CIRODD) will host a lively discussion during the World Social Forum 2016 in Montreal, Canada. The workshop will allow participants to explore questions surrounding transdisciplinary research, sustainability and social innovation, such as: What have you seen or experienced as social innovation daily? How can social innovation foster global sustainability? And how could we use transdisciplinarity routinely in our work environment and community?
The workshop will be held from 13:00 t0 15:30 on 12 August at McGill University. Panelists for this event will be:

The World Social Forum 2016 runs from 9 to 14 August in Montreal. The event will "gather tens of thousands of people from groups in civil society, organizations and social movements who want to build a sustainable and inclusive world, where every person and every people has its place and can make its voice heard."
