ICCS 2016: Sustainability Science for Meeting Africa’s Challenges
Experts from around the world will gather in South Africa to probe how sustainability science can help to inform urgent challenges facing Africa. Hosted by the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Studies (STIAS), this conference will treat "topics as diverse as agriculture, food security, biodiversity conservation, mining resources, urban sustainability, green economic transitions and transdisciplinary research at the African context."
This two-day conference will be followed on March 4 by a special session for postgraduate students from institutions in Japan and South Africa.
