Maria Schewenius
Research Coordinator and Project Manager
Maria Schewenius is project manager within urban research and research communication at Stockholm Resilience Centre, Stockholm University. Her main focus areas include urban resilience, sustainability and human well-being in Latin America. She is currently working in Brazil, Mexico and Stockholm and is preparing to do her PhD on assessment tools. Previous work includes co-editing the book Urbanization, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services: Challenges and Opportunities and co-producing the short video "An Urbanizing Planet" together with Globaïa.
