Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) and Arctic Observing Summit (AOS)
The Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) 2014 is the annual gathering of the international organizations engaged in supporting and facilitating Arctic research. Its purpose is to provide opportunities for international coordination, collaboration and cooperation in all fields of Arctic science. It will include business meetings of the participating organizations on 5 – 8 April and a Common Day devoted to the opening of the 3rd International Conference on Arctic Research Planning (ICARP III).
The Arctic Observing Summit (AOS) 2014 is a high-level, biennial summit that aims to provide community-driven, science-based guidance for the design, implementation, coordination and sustained long-term (decades) operation of an international network of arctic observing systems.
