Research abstracts published following well-attended German Future Earth Summit
A book of abstracts for new research under Future Earth has been published following the German Future Earth summit, which took place in January 2014 in Berlin.
The book of abstracts, which is available for download, includes 78 ideas for transdisciplinary research under Future Earth.
The meeting brought together 260 participants, including representatives from existing research projects, students and early career researchers, to discuss key aspects of the Future Earth research themes – Dynamic Planet, Global Development and Transformations towards Sustainability.
The event was organised by the Committee on Future Earth in Germany (Deutsches Komitee für Nachhaltigkeitsforschung in Future Earth) in order to encourage participation in Future Earth among the research community working in Germany, to initialize interdisciplinary networks, and to discuss innovative topics for research in an interdisciplinary environment.
More information about the Committee on Future Earth in Germany and this event can be found on their website.
