SDSN joins Future Earth’s Governing Council
Launched by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in August 2012, SDSN mobilises scientific and technical expertise to support the Sustainable Development Goals.

SDSN works closely with United Nations agencies, multilateral financing institutions, the private sector, and civil society. It is providing the tools for long-term transformation to sustainable development making it an ideal partner for Future Earth.
SDSN has already had a strong relationship with Future Earth. Executive Director Guido Schmidt-Traub previously served as a member of Future Earth’s interim Engagement Committee.
