Future Earth 2016: The year in news and blogs
The past year was a major period for Future Earth and for sustainability science at large. In the last 12 months, leaders from around the world streamed into Quito, Ecuador, to discuss the future of cities. And nations ratified the Paris Agreement on climate change, a new international effort to curb warming temperatures.
In this timeline, we've collected some of our favorite news and stories from the Future Earth community over the last 12 months.
