Future Earth Early-Career Fellowship Accepting Applications
The early years are critical in shaping a researcher’s career. Future Earth Global Secretariat Hub-China (GSH-China) is proud to launch the Early-Career Fellowship (ECF), a pilot program aimed at recent doctoral graduates or those in the last year of their doctoral program in diverse disciplines (e.g., natural, social, and human sciences) related to sustainable development. Fellows can share their interdisciplinary research, pursue unique collaborations, and build a network of colleagues while working within Future Earth’s rigorous, transdisciplinary research networks aimed at creating transformative change for a stable, resilient Earth system.
The ECF program will select 10-15 outstanding early-career scholars, and each of the recipients is entitled to receive a scholarship of 30,000-50,000 Chinese Yuan (RMB). The scholarship can be used for research-related expenses, including professional travel, professional development courses, conferences, and more. The deadline for applying to the ECF program is May 15, 2022.
