Bringing the community together: Future Earth is convening with the climate office to open useful conversations about the joint ESA & Future Earth program, and how we can help researchers use earth observations in their research. Meet with fellow scientists to learn more and to discuss your needs, wants and ideas for earth observation research.
25 May, Climate Tipping Points
Wednesday 25 May, 13:40-14:40 in the Europa room
How can Earth observations contribute to our understanding of tipping elements in the climate system and help with early warning of change? Spanning research into tipping elements across the ocean, cryosphere and land domains, this session will include discussion of priorities for improving our understanding of the risk they pose and opportunities offered by remote sensing.
