Vacancy: Digital Content Intern – USA Hub (Paid) – POSITION FILLED

Job Type: ~10 hours/week
Are you passionate about content creation for digital platforms, sustainability, and making an impact? We’ve got the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking an experienced and motivated person to assist with ideating and developing content for our digital platforms alongside our Global Communications Manager. You will play a key role in crafting engaging copy and short and long format videos & graphics for our website and social media channels. This position will assist with promoting cutting edge sustainability research from across our network, evergreen content from our website, and upcoming events to enhance the Future Earth brand.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the USA. This is a remote position based in the USA and is paid.

Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing graphics, videos, and infographics in a variety of formats to capture the attention of our online audience & increase engagement across platforms.
- Work collaboratively to edit video projects.
- Collaborate with the Communications Manager to help plan a content calendar and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
- Optimize videos and social media campaigns for SEO to drive traffic and track relevant analytics data to gauge the performance of each video/video series.
- Monitor performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of different content strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with several social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook & Instagram (we use Sprout Social to publish content).
- Familiarity with social media analytics and insights to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Proficiency with graphic design, specifically using Canva.
- Proficiency with video editing.
- Ability to convey complex ideas concisely and compellingly.
- Excellent communication skills and passion for storytelling.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure error-free content.
- A genuine interest in sustainability & climate research.
